Hava Nagila – Rebranded At The Olympics

Interesting the emotions tapped and visceral reactions charged watching the Olympics! Having immediately connected to the impossibly adorable coterie of US teams gymnasts, I was hopelessly charmed by Gabby, and enamored with the singular determination evinced  by Ally- as well as her management of the team in their group performance.  But what was really suprising to me was how Hava Nagila, oft relegated to the hokum bin of cliche music, was elevated into a whole new zeitgeist as Raisman miraculously executed her brilliance and won her Gold medal accompanied  by a stirring, rousing Hava Nagila, forever  to be associated with world class championship.  That’s rebranding!
